Australian Revelations To Screen Dogs In Space

Dogs In Space

Australian Revelations is a celebration of Australian film through a year-round, ongoing series of screenings and Dogs In Space will headline the next event on Monday 30 March.

Written and directed by Richard Lowenstein, Dogs In Space is a slice-of-life tale of inner city Mebourne and the 1970s band scene. Notable for its lead actor, Michael Hutchence, the film is a snapshot of Australian counter-culture.

This ranks as one of Australia’s most legendary pictures” says Richard Sowada, Revelation Director. “The performances are universally excellent but its real power is the moment of time it crystalises. It never fails to draw and please an audience.”

Each Australian Revelations feature screening will be accompanied by a Western Australian made short film, providing opportunities for local filmmakers to have their work seen by new audiences.

Australian Revelations will screen at the new The Backlot Perth facility in West Perth and tickets are available via trybooking.com at http://www.trybooking.com/GXMS
