Globally renowned, chart-topping band DEVILDRIVER recently announced the upcoming release of their highly-anticipated full-length album of outlaw country-gone-metal anthems,
Outlaws ‘Til The End: Vol. 1.The monstrous collection of savage metal interpretations will be released  on July 6, 2018

Today, DEVILDRIVER is pleased to reveal the third video in a series of new interview commentary videos supporting the release of Outlaws ‘Til The End: Vol. 1.

The third segment, entitled “The Guests”, features members of DEVILDRIVER discussing what is was like to have so many iconic guests featured on the album, as well as album guests John Carter Cash, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, Lee Ving of FearHank3Wednesday 13, and Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory reminiscing about how they came to be involved and their different approaches to recording the tracks.

In the video, drummer Austin D’Amond says: “It’s crossing sh*t off of a bucket list… like, really? I got to do a cover song of this legend [Johnny Cash] and his son [John Carter Cash] is on this f*cking track – wow, that’s bad as hell…. every one of these guests, it’s not like it’s some half-assed thing… they’re wailing on this sh*t. They’re psyched to be a part of it and we’re psyched to have them. It’s an honor.”
From the opening seconds of Hank3’s “Country Heroes” onward, Outlaws ‘Til The End: Vol. 1 is simply one of the most invigorating records the band have made yet. More importantly, these evocative, irresistible songs have all been wholly rebuilt from the ground up, powered by the classic DEVILDRIVER sound and embellished with Fafara’s unmistakable feral roar. Outlaws ‘Til The End: Vol. 1 was produced, mixed and recorded with Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Sepultura, The Cure), and co-produced by DevilDriver guitarist Mike Spreitzer. The album was mastered by renowned engineer Alan Douches.
Completing this unprecedented project is a host of metal and country luminaries providing unforgettable cameos: horror metal icon Wednesday13 lends his incensed rasp to George Jones’ “If Drinking Don’t Kill Me”, 36 Crazyfists frontman Brock Lindow brings fire and soul to Steve Earle’s, “Copperhead Road”, and Fear Factory’s Burton C. Bell helps to turn Richard Thompson’s anti-war classic, “Dad’s Gonna Kill Me”, into a brooding gothic metal extravaganza. Meanwhile, Lamb of God members Randy Blythe and Mark Morton contribute to an exhilarating decimation of Willie Nelson’s “Whiskey River” before Randy makes a second appearance on DEVILDRIVER’s version of cowboy standard “Ghost Riders In The Sky”; the latter featuring the son and daughter of Johnny Cash himself, John Carter Cash and Ana Cristina Cash. The album also features the iconic voice of Fear, US punk rock legend Lee Ving, on Johnny Cash’s “The Man Comes Around” and David Allan Coe’s “The Ride”.

Good Charlotte announce that they will release their anxiously awaited seventh full-length studio album,Generation Rx, on September 14, 2018. It marks the first record to be released under the newly minted global partnership between the band’s MDDN label and BMG.

Generation Rx represents both a new chapter and full circle moment for the group—brothers Joel [vocals] and Benji Madden [guitar, vocals], Billy Martin [guitar], Paul Thomas [bass], and Dean Butterworth [drums]. Powered by punk spirit, rock songcraft, and cinematic ambition, they retain the signature vitality and vulnerability of their formative years, while delivering an urgent, unafraid, and undeniable message befitting of two decades in the game.

The quintet craft intricate, yet infectious anthems of hope for a generation under the shadow of the Opioid epidemic, icons gone too soon, mass tragedy, loneliness, and confusion. Produced by Zakk Cervini and Benji during intimate sessions at MDDN headquarters, the record finds Good Charlotte doing what they do best—speaking directly to the youth.

“At the beginning of the year, we were reflecting a lot,” said Joel and Benji. “We just played a memorial service in honor of Lil Peep. We were thinking of that. Our generation was the first to have so many ways to deal with pain. Throughout this century, we’ve seen the whole opioid crisis get worse. We wondered if we were really doing our part. We wanted to bet back out there on the battlefield and spread insight, share experience, and give anything we could to improve lives. The message is you can get through the pain, survive it, and have the life you want. We made the record on our own terms and our own time. In that respect, we channeled the soul of our first two albums. This is the album we’ve been waiting 15 years to create.”

Lead single “Actual Pain” makes good on that promise. Sweeping strings underscore a wall of distortion as a hypnotic hook cuts deep. Raw and relatable, it’s the perfect introduction to Generation Rx.

Good Charlotte will return to the road in Europe and The UK for a massive tour kicking off February 1, 2019. A special fan club pre-sale goes live May 29 HERE. Prior to their February tour, Good Charlotte will appear at a number of festivals this summer. A complete list of upcoming live dates and ticket information can be found HERE.

First formed in 1996 by brothers Joel and Benji Madden, Maryland’s GOOD CHARLOTTE soundtracked the turn-of-the-century and empowered a generation with one cleverly catchy anthem after another. 2000’s landmark self-titled debut earned a gold plaque and quietly set the stage for worldwide superstardom. In 2002, they unleashed the now-classic The Young and the Hopeless, which eventually went RIAA triple-platinum and would be lauded in the Top 20 of Rolling Stone’s “50 Greatest Pop-Punk Albums” and BuzzFeed’s “36 Pop Punk Albums You Need to Hear Before You F——ing Die.” 2004’s The Chronicles of Life and Death bowed at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and reached platinum status as Good Morning Revival [2007] and Cardiology [2010] repeated that Top 10 success and brought the band around the world multiple times in front of countless screaming fans. Along the way, everyone from N.E.R.D. and Three 6 Mafia to Avenged Sevenfold and Tonight Alive jumped at the chance to collaborate. By 2018, cumulative sales exceeded 11 million worldwide, while accolades encompassed everything from KERRANG! Awards to an MTV VMA. Following a six-year hiatus, they made a much-lauded return with their first independent offering Youth Authority during 2016. However, their music and message prove as potent as ever on 2018’s Generation Rx—the first album to be released under their partnership with BMG. Generation Rx needed a voice, and there’s no one better to provide it than GOOD CHARLOTTE.

Good Charlotte – Generation Rx is released world wide through BMG on September 14th

Rise Records and American rock quintet Dance Gavin Dance are excited to present the delicate-yet-chaotic “Care,” along with its accompanying Max Moore-directed music video, from its highly anticipated, forthcoming studio album titled Artificial Selection (pre-order). Showcasing the unique juxtaposition of the R&B-infused highs of vocalist Tilian Pearson with the unhinged guttural growls and chaotic screams of cofounder Jon Mess, “Care” tells the story of an old connection and the struggle with the long-lasting and unwanted scars its left behind. Check out the music video for “Care” over on YouTube HERE

Out on FridayJune 8 and produced by the band, Kris CrummettErik Ron and Dryw OwensArtificial Selection is the strongest and most wondrously diverse showcase yet for the lauded post-hardcore experimentalists, equal parts intense, melodic, and unbound. Dance Gavin Dance fully indulges in the extremes of creativity, mining the outer reaches of the rock music landscape with thrilling abandon. It’s all anchored in an ambitious blend of heady progressive rock and post-hardcore uniquely their own. Check out “Son Of Robot” on Spotify and YouTube, and watch the futuristic music video for “Midnight Crusade” here

Where most bands erroneously claim wholly distinct identities, Dance Gavin Dance truly defies categorization. The Sacramento based outfit possess the kind of artistic compass shared with broadminded but metal and punk-rooted iconoclasts like The Mars Volta and Coheed and Cambria, but use it to diverge wildly, charting a new course that incorporates the melodic post-hardcore of Thursday or Taking Back Sunday with a taste of earnest pop melancholy.

Dance Gavin Dance fans have streamed “We Own the Night” nearly 12 million times on Spotify alone, with staple catalog anthems “Chucky vs. the Giant Tortoise,” “Young Robot,” “Inspire the Liars,” and “Deception” accounting for another 30 million streams on top of that. Their albums regularly chart in the Billboard 200, they’ve graced the cover of magazines like Alternative Press, and toured with Vans Warped Tour, A Day To Remember, and Pierce The Veil, all on their own terms.

Artificial Selection will be released on Friday June 8 and can be pre-ordered at https://riserecords.lnk.to/ArtificialSelection.
