Sony Pictures have just released a brand new Chappie featurette which depicts Dev Patel, Sharlto Copley, Sigourney Weaver, Hugh Jackman and Neill Blomkamp talking about the inspirations behind the film.

Sony Pictures have just realsed two new clips from Chappie. Chappie is the new film directed by Neill Blomkamp. It stars Hugh Jackman, Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel and Sigourney Weaver and can be seen in Australian cinemas on March 12th.

Chappie

Sony Pictures have just released the first teaser trailer for Chappie the new highly anticipated film from writer/director Neill Blomkamp who has previously wowed audiences with the cult classic District 9 and the Matt Damon led blockbuster Elysium.

Sony also released the following synopsis of the film – After being kidnapped by two criminals during birth, Chappie becomes the adopted son in a strange and dysfunctional family. Chappie is preternaturally gifted, one of a kind, a prodigy. He also happens to be a robot.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Sharlto Copley, Sigourney Weaver, Dev Patel, Ninja Visser and Yolandi Visser Chappie is set for release in Australia on 12th March, 2015.
