Consisting of five members, in 2010 the band finished in third place in the British singing competition called, The X Factor. Just two short years later, the band received international success and recognition, and thanks to its love and support from American fans decided to tour here.

The singers, made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, are currently promoting the their third studio album called Midnight Memories. From this album are the two hits “Best Song Ever”, and “Story of My Life”, which quickly became the number one hit within hours of its release all around the world.

Due to their growth through social media and huge success in North America, the boy band did quite well at the American Music Awards, which aired on November 26th. They were received awards for favorite band for pop/rock, as well as favorite album for pop/rock. Not only did they win those two awards, but they were also nominees in multiple other categories.
