[MUSIC INTERVIEW] PART PALADIN – Atlantis Interview

Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist/producer Part Paladin has just released his highly anticipated debut EP called ‘Atlantis’, which premiered exclusively via
AAA Backstage.

The EP a melodic, moody journey showcasing a fresh approach to contemporary heavy music. It blurs genre lines, fusing modern metal, alternative rock, atmospheric soundscapes, and compelling vocals.

Crafted, produced, and engineered by Dux Newton, the EP features Pete Drummond’s world-class drumming and was mixed/mastered by Marvin at Tide Studios London.
Forged in lockdown in 2020 as a bedroom recording project, Part Paladin combines elements of Prog Metal and Rock to create his dynamic and groove-laden brand of music. Part Paladin released his debut single called The Rise and the Fall’ in January 2021. He then followed up in 2022 with the release of ‘Koedal’, displaying a sonic maturing whilst diving deep into one’s own lineage. Late 2022 saw a heavier approach with ‘Ascendance’showcasing darker prog-metal rhythms and triumphant vocal lines.

Part Paladin recently reentered his home studio to work on a plethora of new music, which has resulted in the creation of his debut EP. He released the title track from the EP last month, which was premiered exclusively via Backseat Mafia. The single went on to receive airplay on Triple J (The Racket) whilst garnering spins on over 50 radio stations worldwide.

Debut EP ‘Atlantis’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services.
