Blooming Heck Band

Melbourne garage pop band Blooming Heck are about to launch their debut self-titled album on the 19th November in Melbourne. Dave G caught up with Katherine Simpson from Blooming Heck to talk about the changes from her old band The Triangles to Blooming Heck and about the hard work that has gone into this new album.

American Song Cycle

A very special concert is coming to Melbourne this weekend – it’s called  AMERICAN SONG CYCLE: A DOUBLE BILL and it will be here on November 19. 
In this concert Music Theatre Veterans John O’Hara (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Songs from a New World) and Lisa-Marie Parker (Les Miserables, Cats) along with Aladdin’s Musical Director Geoffrey Castles will present two extraordinary Broadway Song Cycles never performed before in Melbourne. 
Act 1 will feature December Songs by Maury Yeston of Nine, Titanic, Phantom fame and Act 2 will feature the Lyrics of Mark Campbell and 18 different composers in Song From An Unmade Bed.
