Castlecomer Launch New EP + Tour

Sydney local lads Castlecomer are back with their highly anticipated second EP ‘Lone Survivor’ set for release 12th July.

Formed in late 2010 by four cousins and their friend, Castlecomer spent a year performing every weekend in Sydney venues, before releasing their first EP, ‘Danny’s Den’ in March ’12.  The quintet sold over 2000 physical copies and performed to a sold out crowd of 650 punters at the Gaelic Theatre in Sydney.

Castlecomer’s second EP ‘Lone Survivor’ was recorded with Simon Todkill (Matt Corby, Nantes) at Studios 301 in Sydney. Off the back of their lead single ‘Rosie’ the band embarked on ‘The Rosie East Coast House Party Tour’, which saw them perform at a series of ‘house parties’ hosted by fans in their backyards, and selling out each show in the process.

Castlecomer boasts a high-impact live show with their 5-part harmonies and catchy melodies, which often transform their audiences into a dance hall of grooving maniacs. They have previously shared stages with the likes of Ball Park Music, The Last Dinosaurs, Rufus and Mitzi and performed at the likes of Secret Garden Festival, Communion, and  Macquarie University Conception Day.
