Ex Machina Review (2015)
Summary: Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson – Frank) is a young coder at the world’s largest internet company. He wins a competition to spend a week at a private mountain retreat belonging to the reclusive CEO of the company and gifted internet billionaire Nathan (Oscar Isaac – Inside Llewyn Davis). But when Caleb arrives at the remote location, he discovers he is required to to participate in a strange and fascinating experiment: testing the world’s first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot girl (Alicia Vikander – A Royal Affair). Soon, the experiment twists into a dark emotional battle, where loyalties are torn between man and machine.
