Zeolite Release New Track Ahead Of Tour

Melbourne metallers Zeolite will release their second EP, Sermones Mortis THIS Wednesday, February 7 and will tour extensively across the east coast in support of it. Kicking off on Friday in Newcastle.

Originally hailing from Launceston, the band relocated to Melbourne and have spent the past four years meticulously crafting their unique blend of death, groove and tech metal that’s soaked in political and social commentary.
The word Zeolite comes from the Greek words zeo (to boil) and lithos (stone) quite literally molten-rock. These, porous, catalyst gemstones and ores are a perfect reflection of Zeolite’s music.
Dark, chaotic and technical compositions that are filtered through a molecular sieve to produce razor sharp, focused and pure moments of intensity.
Mixed and mastered by Henrik Udd (BMTH, Hammerfall, Architects) and engineered by the band themselves, Sermones Mortis sees Zeolite return heavier, darker, and more refined than ever.

Building a reputation as a go-to opening act, Zeolite have shared stages with Psycroptic, Goatwhore, Chelsea Grin, Northlane, Ne Obliviscaris, and Boris the Blade, and have performed at major festivals including Blacken Open Air, Metal Fusion and we’re the first ever death metal band to play The Falls Festival!
With Sermones Mortis, Zeolite will be taking their music to the people on their own terms via an epic 10 date headline tour.
The band comment: ‘We’re stoked to announce that after keeping quiet for a few months, we are hitting the road again! After an period of relative quiet following relocation and lineup changes, we are embarking on our third tour in less than 18 months.
Using the time away from the road for writing and reinvention, we have a slew of new material up our sleeves and can’t wait to show it to you all!’
