[MUSIC NEWS] SAN CISCO Share Their Dream
What does Fremantle’s San Cisco have in common with Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino? They’ve both used the same famous rattlesnake to star in their respective new videos.
The film clip for San Cisco’s new break out single ‘When I Dream’ was filmed on location in Joshua Tree, California and directed by Kristofski – known for his work with Die Antwoord, Pond, The Babe Rainbow and many more. The clip follows frontman Jordi Davieson and Australian model Gabriella Brooks embroiling themselves in mystery, intrigue and danger in the desert. Their aforementioned rattlesnake friend will also appear in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood alongside Brad Pitt & Leonardo Di Caprio.
‘When I Dream’ has proved to be a sweet return for San Cisco. The song has been met with a rapturous response from both fans and critics and was Most Played on triple j. The single has also been a nightly highlight during San Cisco’s live set over the last two months. Tomorrow’s show in Hobart marks the end of the band’s largest Australian tour to date – part of a mammoth co-headline run with Ball Park Music and Ruby Fields.
‘When I Dream’ is the first new piece of music to land from San Cisco since 2017’s ‘The Distance’. The band recently shared a series of photos from the studio teasing more new music could be just around the corner.
