Monster Pictures,in partnership with Head Gear Films and White Hot Productions, have launched Monster Pictures Studios, a full-service genre film studio, designed to deliver bold and distinctive features that speak directly to audiences.
Built by a team with deep experience across development, finance, production and distribution, and backed by a rolling development fund, the studio is positioned to fast-track premium horror and genre films.
Kicking things off is Seven Snipers, a high-stakes, character-driven action-thriller, directed by Sandra Sciberras and starring Radha Mitchell, Tim Roth, Ioan Gruffudd and Ryan Kwanten;currently in post-production.
The first wave of projects also includes new work from Aussie horror legend Greg McLean (Wolf Creek, Rogue, The Belko Experiment), The Loved Ones and Dangerous Animals director Sean Byrne, and actor Matt Day (Muriel’s Wedding, Strife), making his feature directorial debut. The slate also includes several projects with producer Kristian Moliere (The Babadook, Wolf Creek: Legacy), bringing his proven genre experience to the table.
