‘Disease‘ is an anthem against totalitarian systems of rule. It positions itself against any kind of human rights violation. This statement is supported with energetic, fast instrumentals and aggressive vocals along with a catchy chorus that makes the song a real crusher. The song was created in close collaboration with James McKendrick (VOID OF VISION), who served as a co-producer.

With the COVID-19 pandemic in full swing DEFOCUS recorded the tracks remotely from home, before they were mixed and mastered by ChristophWieczorek (ANNISOKAY) from SawdustRecordings, who truly captured their crushing and impulsive take on modern metalcore.
