[MUSIC INTERVIEW] GRUB – Pulling Teeth Interview

just released their blistering new single and music video ‘Pulling Teeth’.

The single is the first offering and title track from their upcoming EP that comes out on August 30.

“Pulling Teeth was written out of frustration, it’s directed towards people who say they have your best intentions at heart but will never act on their words.”

Grub draw inspiration from Rock, Punk and Alternative genres and blends it together, creating a unique brand of filth. Combine that with a live show that has been described as
“a maelstrom of blistering energy, all serrated edges and teeth” and you have yourself an experience that you won’t forget.

Since their inception in 2020, Grub have cemented themselves as a mainstay in the Newcastle music scene, building a loyal grassroots following through the live music community. These connections have landed them supporting slots on bills with Loser,
Mac the Knife and Private Function, as well as several local festivals.

New single ‘Pulling Teeth’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services and this week they sat down for a chat with Dave Griffiths.
