[MUSIC INTERVIEW] HARLEY LUSCOMBE – Lose My Soul Interview
Melbourne based singer/songwriter Harley Luscombe has released his endearing new single ‘Lose My Soul’.
“Lose My Soul was written as a very introspective song, one that emphasises the importance of following your intuition, being observant in everyday life and rolling with the punches. The idea of not wanting to lose my soul refers to my promise to never compromise on not only my beliefs, but my passion, that is the continued pursuit of music.”
Known for his soulful voice and raw, emotive songwriting, Harley weaves elements of indie, soul, and alternative into his music—drawing inspiration from the likes of Matt Corby and Childish Gambino, with frequent comparisons to the vocal stylings of Jeff Buckley.
Harley Luscombe debuted in 2023 with the release of his single ‘2AM’. He then followed up in 2024 with the release of his Summer anthem called ‘Bitter Love’, which premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage and received coverage form the likes of
Australian Music Scene, Good Call Live, AMNplify and many more.
The single went on to gain airplay on well over 100 radio stations worldwide. Earlier this year, Harley graced the stage at Mordi Fest alongside Alex Lahey, Killing Heidi, Katy Steele and many more.
Harley is back again and ready to win over hearts and minds with his new single ‘Lose My Soul’, available on all major online stores and streaming services.
