Brisbane’s long running, uncompromising metal-punk juggernaut Dreamkillers have returned with their first music in half a decade! 

“Close Down the Circus“ is a scathing indictment of modern Australian politics, a raw and unfiltered response to a nation in crisis. As the cost of living skyrockets, homelessness surges and essential services like healthcare and food become increasingly out of reach, the promised “better future” has collapsed into a cruel joke.

The track tears into the bloated political machine, calling out a sea of broken promises and the growing disconnect between those in power and the people they claim to represent.
 

The metaphor is clear. Australia has become a circus, a chaotic sideshow run by clowns in suits.
And it is time to shut it down.

This is not just protest.
It is a wake-up call.

A no-holds-barred eight-track EP that blends fire, fury and defiance in equal measure.
Named after a rare native plant found only in Brisbane, commonly known as the Brisbane lily, the title reflects the band’s roots and resilience — thriving in harsh conditions, unapologetically local, and impossible to ignore.
