[MUSIC INTERVIEW] SECONDHAND SERENADE – 2025 Australian Tour

After A 16 Year Absence From Australia, Secondhand Serenade return for 3 very special shows backed by a Symphony String Section.
 

From the raw, heartfelt strums of a lone acoustic guitar in a Californian bedroom to global stages filled with thousands singing his lyrics, John Vesely, better known as Secondhand Serenade, has carved a legacy that is undeniable. Hard work and raw emotion are a given, but it’s Vesely’s undeniable talent as a songwriter, vocalist and performer, paired with an unrelenting connection to his fans, that sets him far above.
 

In the 20 years since releasing the debut album, Awake, Secondhand Serenade has become a cornerstone of the emo-pop movement. Vesely’s soul-baring anthems strike at the heart and are the soundtrack and voice to many of the MySpace generation.
