[MUSIC NEWS] KING PARROT Announce New Shows

Since the country opened back up King Parrot have toured Australia and probably played favourites to the mainland east coast. That changes today. The band felt it would be unsatisfactory to leave Tasmania and Western Australia off the map any longer. 4 big shows are scheduled for December to round out the year for King Parrot as they gear up to working on a new album in 2023. They’ve pulled together monster lineups for all shows and can’t wait to get back to these less frequently travelled destinations. Tickets are on sale for all shows now.

“BITE YOUR HEAD OFF” – 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
SATURDAY OCTOBER 29 @ Max Watt’s House of Music
Tickets on sale NOW: www.kingparrot.oztix.com.au

For the first time ever King Parrot will play their debut album “Bite Your Head Off” in its entirety to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the release. A lot has happened since the rabid debut record was unleashed on the unsuspecting public and King Parrot has since forged itself as a household name in the Aussie metal scene. From gruelling back to back international tours with some of metal’s biggest names to continuously tearing up and down the East Coast and all over Australia, King Parrot have made no secret of their desire to put on face-melting, high energy performances that leave absolutely everything on the stage. As a special one off treat, the band will play every song from “Bite Your Head Off” as has been requested from fans for many years.

Never to be outdone on putting together a monster lineup, joining the bill on this momentous occasion will be master riff lords from the nation’s capital Witchskull, and Sydney’s heavy sludge merchant’s Black Rheno. To round out the bill there’s 3 of Melbourne’s best to make this a show not to miss; The sonic psychedelic rock stylings of Spawn, the off kilter schizoid grind of Pissbolt and the dark and heavy blasts of newcomers Munt. DO NOT MISS THE CHAOS!
