[VOD NEWS] UNPRISONED Trailer Released
Today, Disney+ released the trailer and key art for upcoming Original comedy series “UnPrisoned,” starring and executive produced by Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo. From creator Tracy McMillan, the eight-episode series will premiere March 10th on Disney+ in Australia.
Inspired by McMillan’s life, “UnPrisoned” is a half-hour comedy about a messy but perfectionist relationship therapist and single mom whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son, Finn.
The series stars Kerry Washington (“Little Fires Everywhere”), Delroy Lindo (“Da 5 Bloods”), Marque Richardson (“Dear White People”), Faly Rakotohavana (“Secret Society of Second Born Royals”) and Jordyn McIntosh (“The First Lady”).
From ABC Signature, the series is executive produced by Tracy McMillan, Yvette Lee Bowser, who also serves as showrunner, Kerry Washington alongside Pilar Savone through their Simpson Street production company, and Delroy Lindo. Joy Gorman Wettels, JenBraeden and Kevin Bray also executive produce.
