[MUSIC NEWS] DON BROCO Announce Tour Supports

Don Broco have a habit of choosing great support bands. They have just finished a sold out European tour with Sleeping With Sirens and our very own Ocean Grove opening;
 and are currently on a sold out UK tour supportedby Papa Roach and Dance Gavin Dance. So it comes as little surprise that they are announcing the addition of 2 great Australian bands to the line-up for their soon-to-be-sold-out shows in May! Fresh from touring the country with Saosin and having just announced the release date for their brand new album, Abeyance (out in June). Adelaide’s Alt. are on fire.
Since the release of their killer EP, Dysfunctional, which showcased their signature blend of punk, pop, electronic and alternative rock, Alt. have played with the likes of Northlane, Sleep Token,Karnivool, Cog and sleepmakeswaves. Having listed Don Broco as one of their main influences it is only fitting that Alt. join the festivities at these unforgettable shows. Opening this stellar line up is Melbourne’s Wayside who are typical of a recent trend of Australian bands breaking big on the other side of the world before gaining the same level of recognition and plaudits back home. Lauded by Alternative Press, NPR Radio and NME. the highly influential Flood Magazine described them as follows:  “Australia’s Wayside don’t want the emo revival to end. The duo are wistful for Title Fight’s Hyperview, Superheaven’s Jar, and Citizens’ Youth, determined to blur the lines between emo, shoegaze, grunge and nu-metal. What’s definitely in these songs is movement—a feeling of free-floating, a dizzying sensation constructed vaguely with elastic riffs and airy vocals”. Wayside have to date amassed an impressive 2.4M+ streams on Spotify and have been added to Apple Music’s Essential New Rock playlist.  Such is the band’s trajectory that it attracted the attention of Will Yip, (the producer behind albums by Turnstile, Title Fight and Citizen) who has produced their upcoming second album, What Does Your Soul Look Like?
