[FILM NEWS] ONE PERFECT MATCH Begins Filming In Brisbane
Canadian actor Merritt Patterson (The Royals) and Joshua Sasse (Love Is In The Air, Monarch) come together in the new feature romance, ONE PERFECT MATCH, now shooting at locations across Brisbane. This latest feature film from Jaggi Entertainment is written by Ansley Gordon and directed by Jo-Anne Brechin (When Love Springs, Zelos) and further cements Queensland’s position as the home of romance movies here in Australia. The movie will be distributed around the world by Nicely Entertainment.
When renowned Seattle matchmaker, Lucy Marks (Patterson), meets a handsome businessman while waiting at a restaurant, she feels an immediate spark. That spark is squandered when, the next day, she learns he is none other than Finn Grayson (Sasse), her newest client. With a strict “no dating clients” policy, Lucy and Finn embark on the matchmaking process, with Lucy organising a series of dates with her amazing female clients. Lucy struggles with her feelings for Finn, and feels the sting when Finn and the woman she has chosen for him really hit it off. Lucy is faced with the ultimate dilemma: risk losing her reputation as Seattle’s best matchmaker or let the potential love of her life pass her by?

With the film set in Seattle, locations across Brisbane including Woolloongabba, Pullenvale and the CBD will be made to feel like the North American city. Supporting cast members include Lynn Gilmartin, Meg Fraser and Mitchell Bourke.
ONE PERFECT MATCH is written by Ansley Gordon, directed Jo-Anne Brechin and produced by Steve Jaggi with Kylie Pascoe co-producing. Executive Producer is Vanessa Shapiro. Jaggi Entertainment will manage distribution of the film domestically, while international sales and distribution will be handled by Nicely Entertainment.
