[MUSIC INTERVIEW] PANIC ATTACK – Don’t Stop Interview

13 songs in 28 minutes, following the guidelines of Rick Rubin when he produced Slayer’s “Reign In Blood” almost 40 years ago.

“Don’t Stop”  is Panic Attack! debut album but also it stands as the band’s “last will & testament” to the world. The guidelines of Sam Phillips talking to Johnny Cash in the movie “Walk the Line” has been followed. The basic goal was to write songs and create an album that would speak to people who are on the edge & dealing with depression, bi-polar, drug & alcohol use, mental disorders, & people that don’t fit in to their surroundings.

The band figured that there are at least 2 things in the world that everyone could relate with regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status or sexual orientation and those two things are joy, which we cannot really relate to, and misery.

Panic Attack! writes songs in the key of misery. Hopefully struggling people can hear this album and know that they are not alone and that it is possible to stay alive & learn how to succeed in life.

This week Dave Griffiths sat down to chat to Panic Attack and you can hear the interview right here:
