[MUSIC INTERVIEW] THIS SPACE IS OURS – Help Me Interview
Melbourne based Punk Rock outfit This Space Is Ours have unveiled their powerful new single and music video ‘Help Me’,
“I am on the autism spectrum and was late to be diagnosed. In the lyrics for this song, I talk about having meltdowns and fighting with the belief that this is something I brought upon myself. We hope people can relate and find their own meaning for it if there’s something in their life, they feel they can’t control.” – Gemma
This Space Is Ours is a vibrant five-piece Emo/Pop punk band that has been building momentum with a string of high-energy singles and unforgettable live shows across Victoria since their debut in 2021.
They’ve performed alongside acts like Future Static and Drastic Park, and earlier this year, they celebrated a sold-out first headline show. Collaborating with renowned producer Beau McKee (Earth Caller, Between You & Me), the band has released six singles, earning acclaim and playlist features on Apple Music. Tracks like ‘Apology’ and ‘House of Flames’ have also received airtime on ‘Short. Fast. Loud’ and ‘Home & Hosed’ via
Triple J.
With big plans on the horizon, This Space Is Ours is just getting started—ready to make an even bigger impact in the coming year.
