“Dark Cloudswas the song that truly forged the identity of Last Rites” says founding member, Hidden Intent frontman, Chris McThrashy. “It became the benchmark for where we wanted to take the band’s sound, melding soaring melodies with crushing modern metal. Lyrically, it explores the shadows we all face and the choice between surrendering to them or standing your ground when the storm rolls in.”

To bring the grand vision to life, the band collaborated with highly acclaimed producer Stuart Stuart, ensuring a massive, competitive production standard. The single is wrapped in a striking visual package featuring hauntingly precise artwork created by Andy Pilkington.
