GRAMMY® award-winning rock band SWITCHFOOT expands on their trademark epic soundscapes and explores new themes and textures on Native Tongue, the group’s 11th full-length album set for release on January 18th, 2019 via Spinefarm/Fantasy Records/Caroline Australia.

PRE-ORDER NATIVE TONGUE HERE

The dynamic music video for the title track written by SWITCHFOOT front man Jon Foreman and bassist Tim Foreman with Brent Kutzle ofOne Republic. The lyrics are a poignant reminder, “Before we learn to hate. Love is our Native Tongue.”

In the midst of an impressive career spanning more than 20 years, Native Tongue is an inspired work of insight and passion from a band that continues to find strength in our differences and hope in what binds us.  The 14-song project, recorded primarily at Melody League Studios in the band’s hometown of San Diego, Calif., includes a wide array of music from the hard-hitting anthemic title-track to more reflective songs such as “Prodigal Soul,” “Joy Invincible,” and “Voices,” (co-written and produced with their friends in One Republic). The band interlace empathy and introspection, urging us to “use our lungs for love and not the shadows.”  Native Tongue also features a moving collaboration with Kaela Sinclair on “The Hardest Art.”

SWITCHFOOT has been unearthing all manner of musical gems since their 1997 debut The Legend of Chin, steadily expanding their global fan base and critical reputation through such releases as New Way to Be Human (1999), Learning to Breathe (2000), the multi-platinum breakthrough The Beautiful Letdown (2003), Nothing Is Sound (2005), Oh! Gravity (2006), the Grammy award-winning Hello Hurricane (2009), Vice Verses (2011), Fading West (2014) and Where The Light Shines Through (2016).  Fading West doubled as the soundtrack to the band’s documentary of the same name. Along the way, SWITCHFOOT established itself as a world-class live act with a series of sold-out world tours, while racking up a string of radio hits, including “Meant to Live,” “Dare You to Move,” “Stars” and “Mess of Me”. Beyond their career achievements, SWITCHFOOT has been active in a variety of philanthropic efforts, raising over two million dollars to aid kids in their community through the band’s own Bro-Am foundation and their annual Bro-Am Beach Fest, a benefit surf contest and concert that’s held every summer in Encinitas, CA. They’ve also maintained a deep commitment to a variety of humanitarian causes, lending their support to such worthy organizations as DATA, the ONE Campaign, Habitat for Humanity, Invisible Children, Food for the Hungry, CURE and To Write Love on Her Arms. SWITCHFOOT’s new album Native Tongue will be released January 18, 2019 on Fantasy Records.

Kansas City, MO’s Radar State— made up of emo/indie rock heroes Matt Pryor and Jim Suptic (The Get Up Kids), Josh Berwanger (The Anniversary/Berwanger) and Adam Phillips (The Architects/The Gadjits) — have signed with LA-based Wiretap Records and will release their debut LP ‘Strays’ in January 2019.

The band has announced tour dates in support of the upcoming album (see dates below). Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

The follow up to last spring’s self-titled debut 7″ EP, ‘Strays’ features artwork by Mondo Art Director and designer Jay Shaw http://www.kingdomofnonsense.com.

The band says, “We are very excited to get our first full-length album Strays out and play the songs live. Last year we did Riot Fest and a tour with Say Anything but only had the 3-song 7″ out. Now people will be able to get familiar with the songs instead of just hearing them for the first time. We’ll also have a robotic chimpanzee doing merch for us. He doesn’t know how to count change so he’s pretty easy to rip off.”

Papa Roach have released two new songs from their forthcoming [as yet untitled] 10th studio album,Renegade Music and Who Do You Trust?

The tracks see Papa Roach continuing to push their momentum with bonafide rock anthems and fearsome hooks. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix explains, “This song is a statement of engagement – In this day and age, who do you trust? The message of the song is to think for yourself and to trust in yourself, and the imagery of the song matches that. It’s the sea of information, all of if slightly out of focus – and you’re left floating in trying to decide for yourself. Who do you trust?”

“Papa Roach are back with two more anthemic bangers to add to their arsenal”, muses Allison Hagendorf, Spotify’s Global Head of Music, about the tracks.

Papa Roach have been praised by their peers in the rock world for achieving an “unlikely comeback”, with two decades of continued success and a career resurgence with their 2017 release, Crooked Teeth, which debuted in the Top 20 on the US, UK and Australian charts. Loudwire explains, “[Papa Roach] are entering a new era of their career. Whereas a multitude of their former counterparts have either become nostalgia acts or fallen off the grid entirely, Papa Roach are finding ways to reverse their trajectory… The sky is the limit for a band who play their cards right and are willing to kick down a few walls.”

Papa Roach have set out on a mini tour hitting ten cities across North and Latin America, before setting out on a December tour to various military bases in Asia.  The band will also be joining Shinedown and Asking Alexandria on the 2019 North American leg of the Attention! Attention! World Tour.  Additional international tour dates to be announced soon.

SET AND SETTING are a young band from St. Petersburg, Florida who merge instrumental rock with a thick metallic edgeand elements of drone and ambient music.
The result is a captivating wordless genre amalgam“ Decibel Magazine raved and Brooklyn Vegan defined their sound as “metallic  chug to trippy psychedelia to soaring post-rock beauty… like Russian Circles teaming with early Pink Floyd“.
Since their debut album Equanimity in 2013, “the quartet has been very active throughout theunderground and extreme music scenes in the U.S. and Canada.
In 2014 SET AND SETTING released their second album A Vivid Memory via Prosthetic Records and continued to tour internationally and locally with bands such as Mouth of the Architect, EyeHateGod, Inter Arma and Kayo Dot throughout 2015.
2016 brought a tough year of writing and recording while battling injuries within the band limiting live performances.
In 2017 SET AND SETTING released theirthird full-length album Reflectionless and now SET AND SETTING are now returning with their 4th album Tabula Rasa, the band’s heaviest album to date and their debut on Pelagic Records.

The band comment ‘When we were writing this album, we had a new lineup and felt a new energy. We named this song Ecdysis because it felt like we we were shedding old skin and pushing new boundaries we haven’t reached yet.

‘We purposely tried to extend the boundaries of our sound by adding more extreme metal and punk influences all while still sounding like ourselves“ guitarist Shane Handall comments.

The album was recorded and mixed during 10 straight days in Miami.

Playing ‘The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most’ in full, new material from Crooked Shadows’ and fan favourites from their storied career.

For the first time in Australia and New Zealand Dashboard Confessional will play their breakthrough album ‘The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most’ in full. For these special performances, fans can revel in the sounds that first struck a chord and connected them to Chris Carrabbas signature soul-bearing lyrics and vulnerable, introspective musings.

Armed with nothing but a guitar and raw emotion, ‘The Places you Have Come to Fear the Most’ featured the award-winning hit single that became the anthem of a generation, ‘’Screaming Infidelities’’. Carrabba’s capacity to connect with the listener made the songs feel like a shared experience. It’s this ability that helped Dashboard Confessional build a worldwide fanbase and rise to cult-icon status.

Dashboard Confessional return with their first album in 9 years ‘Crooked Shadows’. The album is a reminder of the band’s skill when it comes to penning deeply and unabashedly cathartic songs, with a dynamic force, a surging energy, that resonates throughout. They’ve found a new perspective on the world in these songs, one that only comes with more life experience.

Mayday Parade are thrilled to announce Welcome To Sunnyland’ Australia and New Zealand headline shows alongside their already announced appearances at Good Things Festival!

13 years ago, a group of friends from Tallahassee, FL formed a band and travelled the U.S to sell their CD to anyone that would listen.Through their DIY mantra, Mayday Parade went on to sell 50,000 copies that summer without any label support.  In their evolution from hard-working local band to global force, Mayday Parade have sold out tours the world over, garnered a lifelong dedicated fanbase, sold over 1.1 million albums, while their debut, 2007’s A Lesson in Romantics has earnt cult classic status, spawning fan favourite tracks like ‘’Jamie All Over’’ and ‘’Miserable At Best’’.

Mayday Parade’s mission is to continue strengthening the connection between their uncompromising honesty and boundless emotion with each release. The follow-up to their acclaimed 2015 album Black Lines, Sunnyland finds Mayday Parade both reflecting on the past and pushing toward the future. The result – an album built on impassioned vocals, sing-along choruses, and deeply heartfelt lyrics.

Each live show offers Mayday Parade the chance to personally connect with the dedicated following they consider more like a family than a fanbase. They’ve built a reputable repertoire of tracks, and they deliver those stories, blistering riffs and pummeling drumbeats with a stage presence that is so intensely full of life, the crowd has no choice but to feel it too as they scream along to their every word.

Mayday Parade’s innate, ever-evolving chemistry and undeniable intensity is at its strength – and they’re bringing the momentum back down under. Having sold out multiple shows on their last tour tickets are expected to fly out the door for Mayday Parade’s Welcome To Sunnyland Tour!
