New Navy Announce National Tour

New Navy

After much praise for New Navy’s most recent single Heaven and a whirl of anticipation for what is to come, the Sydney three-piece are excited to announce they are taking to the stage in a run of national shows supporting Andy Bull this September. This comes alongside the exciting news of their signing with powerhouse booking agents Select Music (Australia) joining the ranks of Ball Park Music, Boy & Bear, and The Preatures; and Windish Agency (USA) who also look after #1 antipodeans Lorde and Gotye.
New Navy are no strangers to wowing audiences, having most recently tried out their fresh set for a packed and excitable crowd at the Secret Warehouse show in Sydney’s inner west. With previous gigs including sharing festival stages with Gotye, Metronomy, and The Whitest Boy Alive, and heading a sold out 1200 capacity Metro Theatre show, New Navy will exhibit their live prowess all over Australia when they support fellow Sydneysider, singer/songwriter Andy Bull.
In a preview of things to come the band have also been invited to hit the Goodgod Small Club stage on the 16th of July, with Conics and Froyo.
The signing to the Select Music and Windish Agency rosters proves the three-piece are becoming a highly sought after act and cements their place as a live act not to be missed. Says Katie Rynne from Select Music “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to welcome New Navy to the Select Music family. Their new sound is fantastic and I know the band has a lot of support from other Select Music artists, so it just made complete sense to welcome them to the fold.”
The band are just as excited: “We’re super chuffed to join the Select and Windish families, and the good times ahead.  The Andy Bull tour will be a blast, and it’ll be great to road test songs from our new album. Hopefully he can handle our shenanigans.”
Marking the band’s resurfacing, Heaven has received almost 100 000 plays on soundcloud since its release, and a frenzied response to the video, all about roller skating and love at first sight. Created by Jack Naylor and Lucas Tomoana, the clip epitomises how two people can create something beautiful together – both behind a camera and on roller skates.
